NDIS Pricing, Travel and Service Charges

NDIS prices and claiming rules can change. Access4All discusses the applicable support, rate, timing, travel, transport, cancellations and other agreed charges before service begins. A website calculator or price limit is not an individual funding decision.

Questions to settle before signing

Price limits are not automatic prices

The NDIS explains that pricing arrangements provide guidance about appropriate maximum prices. Participants and providers can negotiate an appropriate price, and changes must be agreed before they are made. Always use the current official pricing schedule and the written service agreement.

Funding management

Tell us whether the plan is self-managed, plan-managed or NDIA-managed so registration, claiming and invoicing arrangements can be checked for the requested support. Funding is individual; the existence of a support item does not by itself confirm that a service is appropriate or funded for a participant.

Examples of costs to clarify

Community support

Worker time, transport, provider travel and the participant’s own entry, food or activity expenses.

Cleaning

Visit length, agreed task scope, products, equipment and cancellation arrangements.

Coordination or coaching

Direct contact, research, provider liaison, reporting and other work permitted within the funded support and agreement.

Changes

How a new NDIS plan, revised schedule or changed support need affects the agreement and budget.

Official pricing information

Use the NDIS pricing arrangements explanation and the current official pricing schedule. Access4All’s pricing search tool is a general aid and must be checked against the current official source.

Frequently asked questions

Does Access4All automatically charge the maximum price?

No price should be assumed from this page. The applicable service and agreed price are confirmed before support starts.

Are community activity tickets paid by the NDIS?

Do not assume that personal activity expenses are funded. Ask the NDIA, plan manager or support coordinator and confirm the arrangement before the activity.

Can prices change?

Pricing arrangements may change. The service agreement should explain how proposed changes are communicated and accepted.
