What Happens When You Start NDIS Support

Starting support should be understandable and unhurried. Access4All first checks whether the requested service, location, schedule and required capability appear compatible. An enquiry does not reserve a worker or create a service agreement.

From enquiry to first service

  1. Short capacity check: suburb, support type, schedule, start date and essential matching needs.
  2. Participant conversation: goals, choices, communication, culture, routines, accessibility and who the participant wants involved.
  3. Service-fit review: scope, safety, worker or practitioner capability, transport and funding arrangements.
  4. Proposed match and schedule: discuss the likely worker or service arrangement, without promising what has not been confirmed.
  5. Agreement: document duties, prices, schedule, travel, cancellations, privacy, communication, feedback and ending the service.
  6. Start and review: confirm practical details, listen to early feedback and adjust where reasonable and available.

What to have ready

Privacy at the first stage

Do not send full medical records, identity documents or an entire NDIS plan through the short enquiry. Share only what is needed to assess initial suitability. If more information is necessary, ask why and how it will be handled.

Frequently asked questions

Is the first conversation free?

Yes. The initial capacity and suitability conversation is free and does not require the participant to proceed.

Can I meet a proposed worker?

Where appropriate and available, an introductory discussion can be considered before recurring support is confirmed.

How quickly can support begin?

Timing depends on information, consent, funding, schedule, capability, worker fit and required onboarding. We provide a realistic answer after review.
